Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This Privacy Notice for Misbau LLC ('we', 'us', or 'our') describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ('process') your information when you use HiddenJobs UK (the 'Services'), available at hiddenjobsuk.com.

HiddenJobs UK is a job listings service. We gather job vacancies from the publicly available careers pages of companies; a free preview shows vacancies with company names hidden, and paying members see company names and direct application links. The Services are deliberately designed to collect as little personal information as possible: browsing requires no account, and membership requires only an email address.

Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you have any questions, contact us at privacy@hiddenjobsuk.com.

Summary of key points

1. What information do we collect?

Email address. When you purchase membership or request a login link, we process the email address you provide. It identifies your account and is where we send login links.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never receive or store them. Stripe shares with us the payment status, the amount, and the email address associated with the payment, which we retain as a record of your purchase.

Session cookie and login tokens. One essential cookie keeps you signed in on your device. Login links contain single-use tokens that expire after 15 minutes. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Services, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device characteristics, operating system, referring URLs, and timestamps. This log data is collected for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes and is retained briefly.

Information you send us directly. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

Job listings data. The listings shown on the Services are gathered from the publicly available careers pages of companies and describe vacancies, not users. They may incidentally contain business information published by those companies. We do not collect or display personal information about job seekers in listings.

2. How do we process your information?

We do not send marketing emails and we will not add you to any mailing list without asking you first. The only emails we send are the ones the Services need: login links, payment confirmations from Stripe, and replies to messages you send us.

3. What legal bases do we rely on?

If you are located in the UK or EU, this section applies to you. We rely on the following legal bases under the UK GDPR and GDPR: performance of a contract (providing the membership you purchased and the login flow you request), legitimate interests (securing and operating the Services, preventing fraud and abuse), and legal obligations (retaining payment records, complying with applicable law). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

4. When and with whom do we share your information?

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Services:

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for advertising purposes.

5. How long do we keep your information?

6. Is your information transferred internationally?

Our member database is hosted in London, United Kingdom. Our other providers use cloud infrastructure that may be located in the United States, the European Economic Area, and other locations where they operate. Regardless of your location, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in these countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms.

7. How do we keep your information safe?

All traffic to and from the Services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies with random tokens. Login links are single use and expire after 15 minutes. We hold no passwords and no card details at all, which removes the most damaging categories of breach. However, no electronic transmission or storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorised third parties will never defeat our security.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from or market to children. If you believe a person under 18 has purchased membership, please contact us at privacy@hiddenjobsuk.com and we will delete the account and refund the purchase.

9. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your location (for example the UK, EEA, Switzerland, or certain US states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@hiddenjobsuk.com; we will respond within one month, and we will consider and act upon requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We will need to verify that you control the email address on the account before acting on a request. If you are in the UK you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); if you are in the EEA, to your local data protection authority.

10. Controls for do-not-track features

We do not currently use tracking technologies for which a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') signal would be relevant, and we do not respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this notice.

11. Do we make updates to this notice?

Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated 'Last updated' date at the top of this notice. We will never quietly weaken it. We encourage you to review this notice frequently.
